Fresh coconut slow roasted until the oil naturally seeps out, then blended with tamarind pulp and spices, makes this rich and easy to use paste.
Ing: Fresh whole Coconut, Tamarind Pulp, Black Pepper, Coriander, Mustard, Fenugreek, Turmeric, Curry Leaves.
With the consistency of a Mexican Mole, add to boiling water and made into a rich simmer sauce (alternately try tomatoes instead of water! ). We love to simmer in slow cooking meats, cauliflower or just onions!
Directly used in the pan to stir-fry veg or meat.
Add it to the rice water while cooking to make a deep coconut rice!
add to soups, sauces etc!
